Strange Candles was born in 2019. We used to buy popular branded candles and sadly found ourselves disappointed with their quality; the scent was often lacking and we knew they were made of paraffin wax, which wasn't ideal knowing that is a petrochemical byproduct.
We started making soy based, vegan, heavily scented candles for friends and family, trying to make them suitable for everyday homes and goth homes alike. It turned out not to be difficult, after a short time of specialising in black wax and containers, we introduced white too. We've always been about making our candles worth it. They're designed to smell beautiful whether lit or unlit, and to look good too. That's how it always will be.
